jpbran, that totally made my day. 3 of my favorite things, Les Mis, Jason Segal (also great in Freaks and Geeks) and NPH... hysterical!!
"I thought that that was just going to be a like one shot deal for me, you know, but they kept talking about it like, 'when we do the production, when we do the production', and I was like, 'yes, yes, when you do the production, cool, I will come and see it'". - John Gallagher Jr. on SA

How I Met Your Mother is filmed in LA. They may be on a break from filming now, but otherwise there's no way he can be watching it every night.
Plus, if the show is renewed for a third season (god willing), he'll only have a three month or so break.
I'd love it if it happened, but I don't really buy it as a possibility.

First Robin Sparkles and now this? I love this show!
I thought that same thing. This is definitely the best sitcom on television.

That was hilarious...albeit scary. Though I'd be just as bad on television, bursting into song on a whim...

I've loved this show since the pilot, but I haven't had a chance to watch much this season on account of (dumb) rehearsals. I'm so sad I missed all of this, but it's so fun to see things that make me love this show/cast even more. hehe. YAY!

oh man, I never watch Megan's show and I just happened to because I had the flu (still recovering from it actually). When Neil started leading up to this he mentioned his the first musical he ever saw... at this point I was like "If he says Les Mis that would just be awesome"... and then he did. Then when they went into The Confrontation I was beaming. The first time I smiled since I got sick. I believe Megan cut them off right before "I'm warning you, Javert!" which is my favorite part of that, but it did go on a lot longer than I thought it would.
Les Miserables is my all-time favorite musical and HIMYM is my current favorite sitcom so it was a great combination for me.
Speaking of How I Met Your Mother, I was wondering if they'd address the fact that Robin couldn't possibly be the girl Ted ends up marrying. Josh did mention that they backed themselves "into a beautiful corner" in the pilot episode.
I love this cast, I bet they have fun on the set.

I must have watched that video twenty times already. It's great.
Off-Topic but is it possible that Ted is speaking to his neice and nephew and not his own children? I don't think it was ever said that those are his kids. It was just assumed.

It's called How I met Your Mother, so he's talking to his kids.

Yes, but he could be talking to his niece and nephew about how he met their mother.
However, I BELIEVE one of the kids referred to him as "dad" at the beginning of the season (correct me if I'm wrong, but I distinctly remember), and the producers have definitely stated that Robin is not the mother.

I don;t think the kids called him dad.
and the grown up Ted refers to all his friends as Aunt or Uncle. Like Uncle Barney.

I loved how Jason sounded just like Colm. And before they they started singing and while Neil was singing his part, He had a look on his face saying Oh my god I can't believe what I am about to do.

To comment on some comments about Robin & mother & dad above, Ted calls Robin "your aunt Robin" to his children. He is talking to his children. Their mother probably hasn't been introduced yet.
And before people say someone about Robin's sister being their mother, good friends of fathers are often called aunt by their chidlren.

There were some conspiracy theorists who said that when Ted referred to "Aunt Robin", it was because he's talking to his niece and nephew. Therefore, Robin is his wife, and the kids' "aunt".
But I checked, and the kids DID call him "dad" in the first episode this season. The latest theory from the Ted/Robin camp is that Robin is not the kid's mother, but that Ted isn't currently married to the "mother" (or maybe never was), and thus could be with Robin at that point in the future.
