re: Les Mis Official Casting#1
Posted: 5/15/06 at 10:45amI only know of one person that accepted his contract- his name is Stephen Trafton and he is graduating from college this month. He is in the ensemble and I think he's understudying Marius.

Take a look at the last page on this thread...they're keeping a tally!
(No, it's not official, so it doesn't technically answer your question, but I thought you'd be interested.)

Here is link to a fan review(not mine) of the rumored Marius and Cosette, Adam Jacobs and Ali Ewoldt.
Also, I am a little disappointed to hear that there will probably not be a tour after this production closes, but I am not surprised. However, I am still hopefull that there will be another tour eventually, though it might be awhile.

Personally, I enjoyed Adam Jacobs as Marius.
As for a tour following the revival, I'd assume there will be one. Maybe not immediately after, but definately in the near future. Les Mis is a cash cow, it'll be back.
And I still think that this will turn into an open-ended run before its all said and done. Or, at least, keep pushing the closing date back furthur and furthur.

any news if Craig Schulman is still in the running for Valjean?
re: Les Mis Official Casting#19
Posted: 5/15/06 at 10:16pmHeh, poor Rosie. She has to tell everyone that Cameron rejected her. Oh well, serves her right for her crappy way of typing.

The Valjean role package has been offered to Gemignani. Any one in this business knows that means a deal is being negoatiated. None of the roles are confirmed until a contract is signed and an official cast announcement comes from the company producers.
Hate to be so techinical but things can and do change up to the signing.
