I saw Aaron Walpole. He BLEW me away. Stunning vocals and his Bring Him Home was second to none.

If Ramin (who I enjoyed as well), is going to be out this week I may rush again and try and catch the other understudy.

I believe Tony ballots have already been submitted. I was talking to a Tony voter a couple weeks ago, and they were telling me that they had to make one last trip to see the last few shows they had not seen since their ballot was due in about a week. So if Ramin missed anything this week, he will not lose votes because of it.

Just a quick update on Les Mis Rush. I rushed this morning and the seats that I have gotten twice in the past are no longer available as rush seats (Row AA seats 2 and 4) or at least today they were not. They only had 20 tickets today (there were an awful lot of unhappy people). There were about 55 to 60 in line. I would say the last people to get tickets got there about 8:30 9 am. So, if you want tickets get there EARLY.
I ended up with row J all the way against the wall which is partial view. But having seen it twice from the front row I cannot bitch.

I rushed just this past Wednesday (May 28th) and got AA seat 4 - just probably wasn't available for your show. I got in line right at 9 and probably had 25 people in front of me. No rush left for the evening show by the time I got to the window but had no problem getting that seat for the matinee. Great seat and I loved the show - definitely will rush again soon.

UPDATE: I rushed today (Tuesday) and was first in line, got there at 5:30. Seats H19 and H21, which I had the last time I rushed (Slightly partial view, but I saw pretty much everything).

Has anyone sat in Row B, seats 7/9? It's second row and I'm looking to buy them online. A few things dont add up though: They are more expensive then other orch seats ($142 instead of $129), and I'm afraid they are partial view.
Can anyone comment on these seats?

Has anyone rushed recently? How early must one get there and how many tickets have they sold as rush recently?

They have up to 40 per show. Depends on how the show is selling that day. I was there yesterday. Got there at 8 am with no worries. It's best to go on a 2 show day.

Broadwaystar, approximately how many people were in front of you? Did you rush on a weekday?

When I rushed a while ago I sat in B9. It was not partial view and I was very pleased to learn that because it was marked as partial! It's the last seat on the left and it's up against the stage (as it extends to the sides of the orchestra). Cast members used it to exit a few times, and if I remember correctly ensemble members sometimes sing from there. That could be why it is marked up.

Did anyone by any chance rush this morning? Judging from what's up on the TKTS booth today, it seems July 4 weekend is pretty slow. I was hoping to try rush for Les Mis tomorrow. Wondering what time I should get there if the box office opens at 12. I was just going to buy tickets from TKTS, but if I can rush that would be awesome.
Thanks in advance!

I actually did do rush this morning! I got in line at 6:30 and had six people in front of me. I believe the girl in the front of the line said she had gotten there at 5:30. I ended up with a great seat on the far left aisle in row j of the orchestra. Being a two show day, I believe all of the 40 tickets that are given out between the two performances weren't accounted for until 7:30ish. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much Cupid Boy2! Good to know. Still sounds pretty crazy... I'll probably get there between 9:30-10 today and see if I get lucky. If not, I'll figure something out. Thanks again for the info~

No problem! Hope it all worked out, and you were able to get tickets. It's a really fantastic production.

Yes, I was able to get tickets (to my own surprise) yesterday! Got there at about 9:30 and was like 6th in line. Ended up with right orchestra aisle seats, didn't feel like I missed anything important. I guess people must have had other things to do (vacations, outdoor activities, barbecue, etc.) on 4th of July weekend. I loved the show! The entire cast was amazing. I am big fan of Caissie Levy, and she makes a great Fantine. So glad I got to see it!

Glad to hear it all worked out for you and that you enjoyed the show! Cassie Levy was definitely a spectular Fantine. :)

How's the line been looking lately? Thinking of trying in a couple weeks for a Sunday matinee.
