Does anyone know if there will be a student/general rush policy for Les Mis on Broadway?

They haven't announced a rush policy and they usually don't announce such policies before a show starts performances. During the last revival, I believe there was a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday rush and standing room offered when the show sold out (though I bought SRO tickets a few times only to find tons of empty seats).

Anyone been able to ask the box office about whether or not they'll have rush this upcoming weekend?
Stopped in yesterday. The woman said there is no announcement policy in place, and no word on whether there even officially will be. She said it may not happen until opening. So unless they announce soon, I would say no, there is no rush this weekend.

Thanks for the info, VotePeron. I was considering buying a regular ticket to the first preview on Saturday night, but it appears to be entirely sold out, which is strange given that every other performance the following week has plenty of seats available. Perhaps they're holding seats back for the creatives?
I also asked for a pair of $57 tickets, and the only next available date was March 27th! CRAZY.

How has rush been for Les Mis? How many tickets do they usually sell? What have the seats been like? Do they usually sell out at box office opening?

The line is crazy long every morning with people starting to line up at 5a. They only give out less than 10 tickets so your best bet is to pay regular price unless you want to wait outside for 5 hours.

when rush first started they were selling 18 to 20 tickets per show.. Once Tony voting is done, I think the numbers will go back up again.
I rushed a week after opening, got there at 7am, was maybe 15th in line and got the very last seats available. So I think in general they aren't saving a lot for rush.

My sister and her boyfriend rushed Les Mis this morning (5/21). They got there at 6:50am and was 3rd in line. They got 3 Orchestra, Partial View tickets.

But what is it like when Ramin is in the show. He is away this week.

I walked up to the box office at 11:30 AM and got 1 rush ticket for the matinee. I didn't care that Ramin was out, Walpole was very good. And Levy was out as well, but her understudy was good as well.

As far as I know, Ramin was scheduled, and Caissie was not.

Seems crazy to take a week off right before Tonys as a nominee. I guess all the voters will have seen him by now...or he knows he's not gonna win?
Is Betsy still on??? I will make a special trip to see her. I would love to see her Fantine-I heard from someone who saw her on tour that she's very good.

Ramin's trip to Japan was scheduled before he was offered Broadway. Worked out for him as he had hurt his calf the week before he left. So at least he got some extra rest.

When is the full original cast back? I'll go when they're all there.
Will he be back by the 28th. Got an Actor's Fund Performance ticket for that night.
Thank you, in town till Thursday, and my wife is very smitten with this Val Jean.

I have seen both Ramin and his understudy. I actually like the understudy better. IMHO!
