Wow. CELIA TIME!!!!

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

Aaron Lazar = Wow. He is going to be so amazing. The whole cast looks pumped and excited. I can not wait to see this in three weeks!

Daphne sounded so much better than I expected! Her raspy voice adds to her dying.

Young Cosette has been added to a few scenes as a vision.

I can't wait to see the update on the staging, orchestration, and costume. The cast sounds amazing. I still remember the amazing performances of Lea Salonga (Eponine), Joan Almedilla (Fantine), & Ivan Rutherford (JVJ). Excellent production.

I ADORE DRV in these clips. And I don't understand the lunacy from those who think a role must be sung the same way always, and acted with the same intention. I'd MUCH rather see a new exploration of a part.

If anything, these videos made me annoyed that there wasn't MORE change from the original staging.

i agree...i think drv will be taking a giant step in a new direction that will boost her career. I think from the quick clips that her differnt style to her voice sounded excellant. I also really liked the cosette...and lazar was fab. all of them actually were great! this show will be really really good. once again i really loved gary and jenny they WILL steal the show.

I haven't seen or heard Celia Keenan-Bolger before, but I thought she sounded quite plain in the "One Day More" clip. Her voice was soft and I didn't hear anything particularly new or charged in her singing of those lines. To be fair, it was a short clip.

That got me so pumped! Daphne sounded amazing, as well as Aaron, and One Day More gave me goosebumps. So exciting :)

I'm not a major fan of DRV, but she did give me chills. That woman seems to emote like no other.

And Cosette actually looks like she could be related to Fantine! I know they've looked related in the past, but never when I've seen it.

I also think I just had a mini-orgasm to Aaron's voice. That's all.

I really must say I'm thrilled to see Alexander Gemignani tackle Valjean. I think he'll be fine, but after seeing the rehearsal video I think he'll be really quite good. Of course I'm ecstatic for Aaron as Enjolras and Celia as Eponine. While I didn't love DRV,I though her end, with her "...and see her when I wake" was fine. I also really am anxious to see Gary Beach do Thenardier. I can;t wait until I see it in December.

I have only seen the first video, I'll have to take time to watch more later. So far, I think Alex G. is pretty good as Valjean, and so is Norm Lewis as Javert. Aaron Lazer sounds great as Enjolras. Daphne is not the best Fantine I have heard, but she is not the wrost either. I am glad she didn't screech "wake" at the end. I would like to have heard some solo lines of Celia as Eponine, the other videos do have more of her right? It was cute when Celia told how she cried when she didn't get cast as young Cosette/young Eponine for the tour years ago. It will be interesting to hear about all the little changes that are being made, from people who get to see the show. I think I like the idea of young Cosette appearing in "Come of Me" in a vision.

Aaron Lazar was great, but he isn't doing anything I haven't seen another dozen Enjolrases do, down to specific arm motions at specific lyrics. Where's the new blocking and staging they were talking about?
