Breakdowns have gone out for Eponine for the Broadway Company!
There was also another (2nd) posting for Javert, EnjoLras, and Gavroche put out earlier this week.
Thanks for the correction Lizzie!!!!

Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

Neverandy: Thanks for the tip. I'm sure the speculation here will rival the first season of Lost... re: Les mis Cast changes

But FYI: Enjolras. L first!

an actor might not want to stay with a production because the renewal has a bad 'out' - in other words, it's a 6 month out, without any other options, and if you are feeling as though you want to start looking for a change, signing a 6 month contract with no out is not a good idea. re: Les mis Cast changes

How about William Michals as Javert? I don't think he's doing any show at the moment.

Alex would certainly tower over him. re: Les mis Cast changes

So, it sounds like Celia might be leaving the show soon.

What does this all mean?

p.s. Is she going out on her own?

What does this all mean?

Nothing, only that Captain Obvious has struck. re: Les mis Cast changes

I dont know what will happen with this cast. It seems as if one priniple decides to leave then all the others follow. I am SO glad I saw this show with all the originals(meaning the Revival). I am going back in June to see it twice and will still thoroughly enjoy my FAVORITE show.

For more realistic purposes, try Allison Fischer. And that's official, she was called in by the director to audition.

Fischer wasn't able to get seen for the initial auditions for the revival but did indeed audition for Eponine after Lea Michelle dropped out. I'd be curious if she gives it another shot.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Yes, while she wasn't in the initial auditions, she did audition when Lea Michele dropped, she made the final callback but was not cast due to her age, although she was close to turning 18. If she was under the age, they had to pay for a tutor for her. However, she is now 18, Celia is apparetnly leaving, and as sccording to her, she did recieve a call to audition to replace her, which I believe she'll honor.

There were callbacks today at Ripley Grier studios. Didn't see anyone notable though.

I am looking forward to hearing news about the cast changes. What will be interesting is what they will do on Tony night if the show does get noimated for best revival. Yes, I know some people are saying that there is very little chance the show will get noimated, or are 100%+ sure it will not happen, but if by chance it does I wonder if anyone from the orginal revival cast will return for the performance. I suppose some that have left may, like Norm or Celia, if they get nominated.

I'd love to see Allison as Eponine. Her age would be much more true to the character's actual age and, from what I hear, she kicked serious a** in "Lestat"!

Hoping to see it again in June (2x!)!

Allison has a great voice and I did enjoy her in Lestat, but she still looks about 14 on stage. Or at least she did a year ago. re: Les mis Cast changes
