UPDATE!!!! Breakdowns have gone out for Eponine for the Broadway Company! There was also another (2nd) posting for Javert, EnjoLras, and Gavroche put out earlier this week. Thanks for the correction Lizzie!!!!
Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?
an actor might not want to stay with a production because the renewal has a bad 'out' - in other words, it's a 6 month out, without any other options, and if you are feeling as though you want to start looking for a change, signing a 6 month contract with no out is not a good idea.
I dont know what will happen with this cast. It seems as if one priniple decides to leave then all the others follow. I am SO glad I saw this show with all the originals(meaning the Revival). I am going back in June to see it twice and will still thoroughly enjoy my FAVORITE show.
"Men like me can never change,
Men like you can never change.
No,
24601.
My duty's to the law - you have no
Rights.
Come with me 24601.
Now the wheel has turned around,
Jean Valjean is nothing now.
Dare you talk to me of crime,
And the price you had to pay.
Every man is born in sin.
Every man must choose his way.
You know nothing of Javert.
I was born inside a jail,
I was born with s like you,
I am from the gutter too!"

Fischer wasn't able to get seen for the initial auditions for the revival but did indeed audition for Eponine after Lea Michelle dropped out. I'd be curious if she gives it another shot.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Yes, while she wasn't in the initial auditions, she did audition when Lea Michele dropped, she made the final callback but was not cast due to her age, although she was close to turning 18. If she was under the age, they had to pay for a tutor for her. However, she is now 18, Celia is apparetnly leaving, and as sccording to her, she did recieve a call to audition to replace her, which I believe she'll honor.
I am looking forward to hearing news about the cast changes. What will be interesting is what they will do on Tony night if the show does get noimated for best revival. Yes, I know some people are saying that there is very little chance the show will get noimated, or are 100%+ sure it will not happen, but if by chance it does I wonder if anyone from the orginal revival cast will return for the performance. I suppose some that have left may, like Norm or Celia, if they get nominated.
I'd love to see Allison as Eponine. Her age would be much more true to the character's actual age and, from what I hear, she kicked serious a** in "Lestat"!
Hoping to see it again in June (2x!)!
