I recorded an audio of the whole show (in 2 pars) using my Sony Ericsson Phone and I uploaded it to my laptop but it was stolen last year! I just hope my friend kept a copy of the file I e-mailed him since I have also long since deleted the file from my cell phone external memory

My boyfriend and I loved it! We saw it on Christmas Eve, in San Francisco.
"I Want More" was the best time I ever had in a theatre. What's Allison doing these days?

She did a workshop production of a musical adaptation of "The Night of the Hunter" for the NYMTF a while ago. She played the teenager. I don't really know what part it is 'cause I haven't seen the movie.
Isn't she rumored to be in the Grease revival now?
We enjoyed it & wanted the CD but it will not come out so life goes on
not my favorite but not my least favorite. Just in the middle. Allison was amazing though! Updated On: 3/26/07 at 10:57 AM
Wow, antonijan, that's probably the wisest thing anyone's ever posted on this board.
Yes....Allison Fischer will be playing the role of Patty Simcox. Now please let this thread die already. The show opened and flopped a year ago today....let it die!
The Best part about Lestat.. was Kelli Ohare getting naked.. Oh and I liked watching the VAMPIRE girls getting hooked up to thier harnesses off stage..
I thought Sharon Tate got naked in Lestat?!
Did anyone else see Orfeh go on as the Gabrielle and Claudia understudy at the same performance? MAGNIFICENT!

Some CD's of flops have been made. I saw Rags on opening night and it lasted only four performances and you can get the CD. Nick & Nora also. So, who knows? You might still be able to get a CD of Lestat. I'd be interested in listening to it.

i thought i was alonde when walked out of the palace with a smile on my face.....
I smiled when I walked out of the theatre, too because, at last, the ordeal that was "Lestat" was over!
"I thought Sharon Tate got naked in Lestat?!"
Oh right... and Kelli Ohare was killed by the Manson cult.. I ALWAYS get those two mixed up.. Sorry Lizzie
Maybe results would have been different if Wildhorn had written the score for Lestat & John for Dracula
Let Sondheim & Sir Andrew have a crack at writing a vampire musical. What about Yeaston?
Truth be told, the first time I saw it the entire audience (myself included) were looking around for most of the show going....what the eff....in face it really left me wondering who was going to get the worse reviews: Lestat, or 3Penny Opera. Hmm... anyway, I agree that Drew was the strongest part of Lestat. He and Hugh (who, lets face it, this was NOT his strongest role) are the reason I went AGAIN because I HAD to take my roomate to see this nonsense. That very night we decided to go one more time because it was closing and we really liked the cast. So we went 5/27 evening...when Drew went on for Hugh....that just reinforced my beliefs about Drew being...yeah....anyway.... the show closed on 5/28, kids. Not 5/29. 5/29 was a MONDAY. The show closed on a SUNDAY.
I would love to listen to the cd if they make one because I'm not into bootlegs, and I would really love to hear the show and form my own opinion of it.

I don't mean to rip on Wildhorn but Lestat was written too recently for Wildhorn to compose the music.
I'm just saying, none of his shows are based on material from the 20th century. Except for the Civil War, which just didn't take place during the 20th century.
I finally got the Lestat Souvenir Program from broadway dot com for only $10 and it's good to see it added to my collection.
The programs were not available when it previewed in SF.
Buy it now before it is gone forever...now only if they would release the Cast Recording :P

I just want to add to this thread a) to share that I enjoyed Lestat, and b)help make it clear to BroadwayBound86 that we can keep a thread going as long as we damn well please.
Lestat souvenir programs were available for the tryout run in SF. I still have my copy with Jack Noseworthy in it.
Lots of stuff about the show can still be found at:

Yes, they were. They were just very different from the ones sold in New York.
