Lestat Final Performance...Who's Going?

Who is all going tomorrow afternoon for the last perf.? I know i'm going to try student rush. Do you think it will be packed? Will student rush line be long?

Does anyone know if Hugh will be playing Lestat tomorrow?

You will get a student rush ticket at 2:59 tomorrow, with there being no line with no problems at all.

I think I'm gonna go. I have very low expectations, but I've never been to a closing night performance of a Broadway show. And I've never been to a notoriously bad show before either! Who knows? I may enjoy it And if not it'll make a great story...a cautionary tale.

LOL! If you are lucky, they might pay you to fill a seat or someone with a ticket that can't get rid of will give it to you for free or very cheap.

GROW UP BROADWAYBOUND and SHUT UP yourself. Not everyone shares your views, either. Thank God for that. And since "Lestat" is closing in near record time, the majority do share my views or it would still be running. Check out the reviews in NY and SF and you will see that they also share my views. Just because you and a few others here liked it, does not make it good. Maybe if you paid full price instead of "rushing" you could help them defray some of their costs.

Just because you disliked it does not make it bad either. Not liking a show is one thing but to be so vitriolic & screeching about how bad it is & than take such glee in it closing. All i can say is what a shame

It is a shame. A shame that so much money and talent was wasted on such a show as this. That is the shame. And just because you liked it doesn't give you the right to keep saying how great it is if those of us who don't like it are not allowed to do the same. You must work for the Bush administration since only opinions that agree with theirs, and yours, are allowed.

As far as GWB, I did not vote in the last election nor will I vote in future ones. Your party is the one whose members tried to stop Mc Cain from speaking at the New School & have tried to stifle the views of others who do not agree with your view. Everyone is entiteled to their views

Do what you want politically I could care less . Trying to blame everything on GWB is getting passe now. Sort of like piling on in football. Despite what you may think, he was not behind the Chicago Fire or Frisco earthquake in 1906

I'll be there tomorrow. Drew was on as Lestat for the matinee today...I don't know if he was also on for the evening performance. Should be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. Hope Hugh is feeling better.

Just for tomorrow, could you please do something nice for the rest of us and just SHUT UP about how much you hate Lestat (even though you haven't seen it) Just be kind enough to those of us who are a little upset right now that it's closing and keep in mind that your comments at this time are just cruel. I'm not telling you that your opinions are worthless just because I don't agree with them. It is not my place to tell you what you should or shouldn't say. But many of us are upset that the show is closing and your comments in this thread are just mean. It is really upsetting (and I know you get off on it) but really. Enough is enough.

I will be there....just saw the show last night for the first time. Want to catch it one last time. Drew was AMAZING....but would like to see a full cast today....On the flip side, I don't how anyone could top Drew's Lestat!
