Eponine gets me, I was indeed being sarcastic, shows sell tickets because of its stars. Great pics All4Laura.

All For Laura, how did you feel about the show overall? Obviously you're a fan of Woman in White (me too!) which didn't go over with critics either, so you have an open mind... what's your feelings?

First things first, Muscle.

I got Hugh to sign my phantom playbill, because I saw him as the phantom in June '05.

Now to the other question. As a whole, I thought it was nicely performed and well put together and everyone onstage was amazing. There is still a lot that could be worked out with the book of the show to make things concise and make smooth transitions. I mean it doesn't do the same thing woman in white does for me, but it was still a very good show, and i wouldn't let the reviews prevent you from seeing it. Allison Fischer is a rising star!!!

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

Yes...i agree. I had a good time seeing Lestat. It has its flaws but it is enjoyable.

Ethan, you are so cool! When I saw Lestat, I also brought my Side Show CD cover for Hugh to sign and my Parade CD cover for Carolee to sign. I also LOVE your t-shirt...The Woman in White was a fabulous musical. Thanks for sharing your pics with us!

They already have black and white playbills?! just curious, did they start giving those out right after opening night?

Always glad to oblige my friends and neighbors!

I don't know when they started giving out black and white, but I was upset I got black and white. Luckily I have WIW in color and b and w. Next weekend is Doubt!

Lestat must have turned b&w the day after it opened. They were giving out colors when I saw it the day before it opened.

Unfortunately, those are the only ones I have. I wanted to get a picture with Allison, but after we chatted, she had a lot of other playbills to sign, so I let her go on.

I guess they figure since they are wasting enough money trying to keep this show going, why spring for another run of color Playbills? Judging from the box office take for this show, there should be plenty of black and white ones left to recycle soon.

Ya im guessing the black and white playbills came out at opening night because i have a color one and i saw it in previews.....and i hardly think they would just a pick a random night to change the format.....but ive got to say i think i like the black and white ones better

Regardless of whether it's your reality or not, and regardless of whether the critics liked the show, there's no need to make useless comments that benefit no one.

One more thing...Why make a hate post when your opinion is not asked? Like I said before, it'd be completely called for if the title of the thread was "Did you like Lestat?" or "Did Lestat suck?"
Then, your answer would be useful. Here, when talking about playbills and stagedoor experiences, it's not.
