I doubt if someone like Laura Osnes would even take on the role of Cosette at this point in her career after having performed the leads in BONNIE & CLYDE, GREASE, SOUTH PACIFIC, CINDERELLA and a quite sizeable supporting role in the classic, ANYTHING GOES. To do so seems like a step down to me.
Eponine- Lea Michelle (This is her dream role, and she'd be spectacular
No it's not. Fanny Brice in FUNNY GIRL is her "dream role". She did "Eponine" at the Hollywood Bowl. So she already fulfilled that "dream". Enough is enough with that.
Valjean: Alfie Boe Javert: Norm Lewis Eponine: Samantha Barks Fantine: S.B. OBVIOUSLY I would be happy to see Aaron Tveit play either Marius or Enjoras. I will cry and shun Broadway if Lea Michelle gets her grubby hands anywhere near this revival.
Does Jason Danieley have a high enough range to play Valjean? Something about him always made me curious whether or not he would be a decent Valjean.
And although it will probably be the cause of death for many people on these boards because they would hate the idea, Menzel for Fantine would be fantastic IMO. But...she is getting a bit too old at this point and I don't know if she would come back to do a revival. Julia Murney would also be superb.

I'd like to see Ramin move on to something else and explore some range. Same with Sierra.
I always thought the Thenardiers were supposed to be dark humour, more on the edge of scary. I love Jackie Hoffman, and would even like to see Susan Blackwell as Mme, but maybe they (definitely Jackie) are too farcial.
In all honesty, I'd like to see a cast of talent we haven't see yet.
