Getting back to the Smaxie provided link to the Barbra Streisand file, Bob Merrill mentions that he and Juke Styne re-wrote two of the songs(which ones?) and that he (Merrill) worked on re-writing the book all in the early 1990's. This is important information but no details are provided! So, will director Sher use this new material or use the original songs and book? God knows the second act book as originally written needs some re-writing! (I think I am in the wrong Thread. Like others, I have gone back and forth from this Thread to the "Official" Thread. Sorry.)
