Jerby, just know that no one is happier than me than a new non-musical play is doing so well on Broadway and is looking like it'll run for a couple of years. I just wish that it was "Gem of the Ocean" getting this kind of hype (I know you loved those folks) and not "Doubt," but you can't have everything.

I wish it was BOTH plays...

I hope I'll love it. And I agree that every wonderful new play should have as much hype as Doubt. JRB, that's not fair. We can't do it properly with Italics. Quotes work just as well. Or, alternatively, we could start our own notation! I really hope that, despite the hype, I'll love /Doubt/.

I just say DOUBT or GEM OF THE OCEAN. Or Doubt and Gem of the Ocean.

But quotes!

Yeah, those two, possibly others, ie Brooklyn Boy and Democracy. But whatever. And the slashes were a result of 1 o'clock in the morning syndrome. The quotes business was one time offense, I'm sure we can excuse Margo
