Does anyone know when tix will go on sale to the general public? Every play I look at says 'pre-sale', and I can't seem to find the dates when I can buy tickets. Thanks

April 2nd.

It's on the Festival homepage, but not repeated anywhere closer to where people would actually buy tickets.

i'm actually mildly surprised that there hasn't been any discussion of what's on offer this year.

I guess people are too busy drinking their mimeses?!? :)

I'm looking forward to Cummings' one-man Macbeth, but can't quite decide what to think about DruidMurphy. Druid does great stuff, and I loved DruidSynge a couple of years ago, but I'm struggling to get excited about a Murphy marathon.

If you're an opera buff, the Sariaaho "Emilie" also should be worthwhile.

I hope to see 'Macbeth', 'Uncle Vanya', and 'In Paris', in that order. I am VERY excited, just not sure where the money is coming from Lincoln Center Festival 2012

Thank you for replying -- I want to get the tix I can afford as early as possible

Hi Whatever -- I just looked at the DruidMurphy, and it looks exciting too

I would want to do a marathon day -- now I DEFINITELY have money issues. I will have to give some serious thought to what to see

I'd heard such good things about 'Uncle Vanya' -- does anyone have an opinions or advice?

Can't wait to see Cumming's Macbeth. To be honest, I'm more excited to see him play the witches and Lady M than I am to see him pay the title character.

I know you. I know you. I know you.

Give "A Whistle in the Dark" from DruidMurphy a go - its a stunning play which is very rarely seen.

Question -- does anyone know what TIME tix normally go on sale to non-members?

It's after midnite on 4/2, so the answer is apparently not at 00:01

I did look on the website, the 'pre-sale' flags are still there

Thanks Lincoln Center Festival 2012

I really hope Complicite's THE MASTER AND MARGARITA is a late addition.

Damn you, McBurney, and your brilliant but elusive talents.

There are plenty of tickets available for Uncle Vanya, all performances and price ranges. Get them while they last.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
