Received an email earlier today indicating that Lincoln Center Theater memberships are now open/available. It's been a while. A great opportunity that more often than not pays for itself each year.

How much are tickets to the Broadway plays through the membership?
Been wanting to join for a while but membership was closed. Joined today for 54 and immediately bought a ticket to Oslo for 66.75. No fees or shipping costs added. Already paid for itself. Great Center Orchestra seat.

My thanks also to bdboston. $54 is a great investment.
$54 per person gets you access to 1 ticket/show or 2 tickets? In other words, do I need 2 memberships for spouse and me?
Yes: 1 membership = 1 person/1 ticket.

Thanks for the tip! Debating whether to spring for this or keep using LincTix. I usually can't buy LincTix right away since I can't get to the city too frequently. With Falsettos by the time I knew when I'd be in town, LincTix were no longer available. Even though these are more expensive than that, the seat locations sound like they're better and it's still a great value. Sounds like I'll have to decide quickly!
How often do they open up for new members? Is it the same price to renew each year? This seems like something I should do before the offer goes away, but I only get to NY 1-2 times a year.

Membership opens up pretty infrequently since there isn't a lot of turnover. Most people renew their memberships because of the low price, and LCT has always been good about not taking on more members than they can accommodate (unlike the Public). Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the last time membership was opened was 2-3 years ago or more. So if you're interested in joining, I would say do it now.
thanks for the info AC12
Is there a schedule beyond the next 3-4 shows? Any hints to fall productions?

Thanks for the information. I went ahead and joined and bought a ticket to Oslo for May. I like how members can get refunds on tickets or exchange them. Excited to see what might be playing in the fall!
