Linda Eder or Lea Salonga- Page 2

Well, I think that vocally Lea Salonga is better then Linda Eder. Eder tends to be something of a screamer at times, which really bothers me. And nothing can be better then Salonga's Kim in Miss Saigon.

I covered them both for BW back to back last summer at Lenape.

Both ladies are quite good in concert. Their vocal styles are far different, as was mentioned. I would say see both, if you can. Lea's vocal tech. is flawless and polished and Linda's powerhouse delivery is impressive.

I don't feel stage door or offstage comments should matter when one is asking about onstage worthiness. I've met/interviewd them both.

Linda is very gracious...Lea on the other hand is a little unappreciative of her fans. She will stay and sign for as long as she feels necessary but will make it clear when she's done.

I've met both, and Linda was by far the nicer. I love them both as far as voices go. I'd go see both if you can. Those who say Lea is an actress.....did you see her in Flower Drum Song? She's a cute, cheesy actress, with a great pure voice, but I wouldn't call her acting anything special. Sure she won the Tony for Miss Saigon, but we know that doesn't mean anything....did someone say MArissa?...ok I won't go there.

i have never seen lea, but linda's voice is amazing. she is a power house and sounds great live! but her shows do tend to be very minimal. small band, no set and she drsses very plain... it's all about the music... not that that's a bad thing.

Linda Eder has one of the most incredible belts I've ever heard. This woman's singing to me, is near perfect. She flawlessly delivers each song I've heard her do, and I get chills when she releases that powerhouse voice.

I do think Lea is the better actress, and a beautiful singer as well, but Linda Eder is unstoppable when she lets loose. Go see Linda....

I have never seen Lea live, but I have seen Linda several times. Her concerts are absolutely amazing. She is so humble and gracious on stage. She also has a fantastic sense of humor. I met her and it was just like talking to an old friend, she is incredibly down to earth.

Love Lea *saw her in Flower Drum Song the night it closed* but have to go with Linda. She has an amazing belt
