There's a talentless guy from this area named Sean Barker. His father tells everyone that Sean "opens" for Linda Eder in her nightclub acts. My musician friends claim the only thing Sean could open for Linda Eder is a door.

Now Papa Barker is bragging that his son has written two songs on Linda's newest album. Could this be true? Please note that Sean could be using another name these days

Shaun Barker has opened for Linda. With her new album, comes a new concert and new songs, and he does open for her. In April of this year, Linda debuted her her look, sound, songs and style here in San Juan Capistrano, in Southern California. He was wonderful, and wrote a few songs for the new cd.

When Linda is doing her "normal" concerts - standards, Broadway, Judy, etc......there's no opening act. Seeing her on Sunday in Pittsburgh with the pops. And, I can't wait!

Dollypop, your musician friend is wrong.

If your not a real lover of Country and Western but have been smitten by this album may i suggest giving Dolly's latest a try. 'Backwoods Barbie' is a divine album that has some beautiful story telling in every number! Try it!
* Linda can do no wrong, she is a true star and we need more DVDs of her in concert! Now!

If Sean, or Shaun, or Shawn, or however you spell it Barker wrote songs for the new CD, he must be using a fake name, because I didn't see him listed as a writer on any of the songs.

I was mistaken. I looked at Linda's interview on this site and she said Shaun Barker did co-write some songs on this album. That'll teach me to look for information in the middle of the night when I'm sleepy! Sorry.

Thanks for the info. Linda is one of those people I feel is brilliant in whatever she does. :)
