She definitely chose to share this to not have to respond to every single DM or comment about her leaving the show. Even with this post, there’ll be hundreds who’ll miss it and still pester her with questions. A well-known actress who shares tons of photos of her cats on social media gets asked constantly if she has any pets. Go figure.
