Just saw Dear Evan Hansen this weekend. Michael was on for Evan (he was INCREDIBLE! Weeping, snot, EVERYTHING you would hope) and Lisa Brescia was on for Heidi. She wasn't even in the playbill but she stepped in and gave a STAR STUDDED performance. Both were Absolutely amazing. If you see them you will not be disappointed.

She is a vacation swing while Rachel Bay Jones is on vacation, so that's why she's not on the Playbill.

there should have been a slip insert for Brescia announcing she was going on, was there?

Yes there was a slip that said, At this performance the role of Heidi Hansen will be played by Lisa Brescia..then there was a bio and photo.(many shows have done this..)

Is Lisa going to be taking over eventually? Or prepping for the US tour? She's grossly overqualified to be back as standby or swing.
