Hi all,
I'm sorry to contribute to the much-maligned "Opinion" genre of threads, but I would genuinely appreciate some feedback on this question. I'm coming into town next month as part of a group package. We're seeing Hello Dolly! on Friday night (this was the selling point of the trip for me) and we're seeing The Little Foxes on Saturday night. I'm also, on my own, seeing Great Comet at the Saturday matinee and War Paint for the Sunday matinee. (These tickets are already purchased and non-refundable.)
I love Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon and I'm sure they're going to be great in their roles, but I'm much more of a stereotypical musical queen. In a lesser season I would have just shrugged it off and attended the play, but there are other shows I want to see and this is my only opportunity to get into the city for the foreseeable future. I'm considering selling/ditching this ticket (my Little Foxes ticket for 8pm April 8th, to be clear) for a chance to see a musical that's not already on my itinerary, (and I'm leaning heavily towards Come From Away}. What say you, BWW glitterati? Should I see another musical, or will Little Foxes be a show I should not miss?
