Posted: 6/28/05 at 6:59pmKicks I agree, Dan Fogler would be better as the stupid sea gull. But I really see him as a fluffy big side kick. Maybe Hunter as Skuttle hes more of someone I could see as that. I mean by no means am I calling hi stupid, but skuttle should be like a tall lanky (sort of) know it all.

Posted: 6/28/05 at 9:47pmI like the idea of Chris Fitz as flounder. I also think that Idina or Eden could make a kick ass Seductive Ursula (and of course Harvey as the regular Ursula). If she were younger, I would say Andrea McArdle as Ariel, maybe with makeup she could still pull it off, but I doubt it. I also like the idea of Susan Egan or Michelle Federer as Ariel.

Posted: 6/28/05 at 9:52pmI love the idea of Wayne Brady as Sebastian.

Ursula should be played by BILLY PORTER...hands down, he'd be soooo brilliant...his belt is sooo high and intense...he can do the song in the original key up an octave.
Kerry Butler as Ariel
Cannot wait to hear Menken's additional score...I've heard it's some of the best work he's written since King David...and that is high praise. Sad though that Ashman's no longer here...Ashman was an absolute genius of the musical theater.
