Little Women CD Release Date?

Before y'all get all "this has already been discussed!" please know two things: 1. I did a search and didn't find anything to answer my question, and 2. I'm having the worst day I've had in a long time, so please be gentle with me. Thanks :)

Has there been a release date announced or even a rough estimate/anticipated date for the Little Women The Musical CD?

I know people were talking about cd samplers before - did anyone ever get their hands on one? I'd love to get an 'in progress' cd of this show - I like the part of Laurie's song that is previewed on the site better than the final product I think - and I think Some Things Are Meant To Be is a lil different too.

I don't remember hearing a release date, but the sample people talk about included songs that were on the LW website. I don't know if they are still up, but take a look.

It just sickens me how people are afraid to post topics that may have been posted before and feel compelled to apologize. Too bad if a topic has already been posted before in a separate thread. It took twice as long to read this initial post than it should've because the poster felt the need to go through every step he/she took to ensure that this wasn't discussed before. Those who feel compelled to ridicule and point out that the thread has a previous thread need to grow up and get a life. This is supposed to be fun.
The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.

BY the way rK - I wasn't being critical of you. I am just sorry that you feel that you need to explain all of the steps you took before posting here.

I'm curious, did anyone see Little Women on Saturday night? I was just asking because I'd like to know how Danny Gurwin's understudy is.

Chrys, I saw him a while ago. Here's what I wrote:

The understudy was on for Laurie... Chris Gunn was his name. He's a talented guy, but he's miscast here. He was too goofy and I couldn't take him very seriously when the time came. He'd be better suited to play Boq or something.

I was underwhelmed.

so excited - i saw it for the first time a few months ago, and then saw it again saturday and liked it SO much more. plus, i'm a huge sutton fan, so i can't wait to have another album that she's on!

Where'd you get the sampler from? I usually get them in the mail, but I didn't for LW...

I was wondering about the sampler too, since I also get them through the mail.
Anyway, I'll be there late April, and it would be great to hear the OBCR before, but I was kind of worried since the LW web site has been down since yesterday.

The website has been down since Thursday night, I think. It's been at least since Friday since I have been able to get on. It is driving me crazy!

I saw Jim Stanik on Saturday night. I was not too impressed. His acting was good but vocally, he seemed a bit weak. Maureen McGovern kicked ass though. Loved her.
