Sorry if this has been posted and I'm missing it (and please--no PMs or hate posts if it has--I'm sick and I've been a little behind--forgive me), but there's a cool video on the LW recording on Bway.com. I find recordings interesting, so, maybe I'm partial, but, I like this look behind-the-scenes. There are a lot of clips of the score, which sounds better than I remember. (Though I previously found it completely mediocre so that is not saying much.) And I am sure the trillion Sutton fans will want to see their girl yet again.
On another note--even in small doses that Amy girl sort of freaks me out.

I agree about Amy -is she like 12 or is she a grown up playing a kid?

Amy is actually out of college (says in her bio in the playbill). I couldn't believe that actually.
That video is great. I love Little Women, and I love also getting a little behind the scenes peak.

Its funny, the first time I saw Little Women I didnt really care for the music.. ive seen it three times now and love it! I cant wait for the cd, its going to be incredible!!
Any word on a release date?

Haha. When I saw it, I was thinking, that girl is really annoying and then I read that she graduated from Otterbein College and I thought..wow she is still annoying.
I'd love to see her play her own age rather than a squeeky little girl.

Can't wait until it is released. MAUREEN, I love you!!!! I am such a dork, but even that little snippet of "Somethings Are Meant To Be," I starting tearing up. That song makes me cry so hard.

is it just me, or does Sutton's speaking voice sound REALLY tired?
Which is odd, cause her singing sounds uh-may-zing.

That just made me so excited. Sutton sounded absolutely incredible! Gosh, she gives me the chills. I'm a sutton fan, can ya tell? But oh my gosh, I have never heard that Amy before (I saw the understudy) and I have never heard a more annoying voice in my life. I am afraid I won't want to listen to this cd because of her. wow.

Anyone else have "Off to Massachussetts" stuck in their head? I've been singing "Better" for the better part of the day. I cannot WAIT for the cast album to come out! Oh, I *think* it's sometime in April. Everyone in the show is amazing, 'cept for Amy. She just creeps me out. Jenny Powers, on the other hand,

Wow. wow wow wow. You guys have no idea how happy that just made me! I was shivering the whole time, I was so excited. I now officially CANNOT wait for this recording. I really love this score. "Somethings are Meant to Be" made me almost-cry, and I was grinning like a fool during the rest of it. AAHHHHH!!! I am so excited!!!!
Amy has grown on me. I think she does well in this role. She wasn't so hot in the previews at Duke, but each time I see it I like her better.
