Liza Filming in Las Vegas for PBS

The taping/filming will be taking place during her run at the Hollywood Theatre inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. She's there from September 25 thru 30. No word as to where this will be shown. Most likely Showtime cable which aired her 1972 LIZA WITH A "Z" NBC TV Special.

She's also doing a special midnight show on Oct 1 which I have tickets to....can't wait!

Are they still planning on calling it Liza at the Palace at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas?

I believe the title will be:

LIZA AT THE PALACE
AT THE HOLLYWOOD THEATRE
AT THE MGM GRAND IN LAS VEGAS!

Interesting....the Oct 1 midnight show is on her website but has been taken of the MGM website...glad I already have my tickets!

The midnight show is a Liza tradition that she started with Sammy Davis. They do a midnight show so the gypsys from the other shows on the strip can come. She did them two years ago during her run at the Luxor. Usually it is a invitation only thing and usually she does some of her show and other people get up and sing. I would also double check before going... as the show might have gone into MGM's ticketing system by mistake...
