....passed by the St. James to see the gigantic lighting racks being taken off the stage's back wall. "47th Street," "She Schtupps to Conquer," laying on 44th Street. End of an era.

Onward and upward.

So weird that the iconic images seen in Broadway: The American Musical are now out on the curb after being painted as some musical of saving grace after 9/11.

Well, it's not like it was a flop. I wish more shows had that sort of time frame. Just run the show for about 5-6 years, then call it quits. That's enough time to turn a profit. No need for these long-ass 20 year runs or whatever.

That would have been tragic for me.
But probably the most emotional-evoking picture to see.

I'm going in tomorrow with my acting and intro to theatre classes to see SpamAlot and I might take some photos if there is anything out there tomorrow.

It's so weird that The Producers closed, it's been the one show that's always been out there since I started really getting into theatre a couple of years ago.

I know what you mean, worrell4077. It was the show that jump started my interest in Broadway. If you can, please take a picture. I'd like to see ths for myself.

Jeez, now you've got me looking at my pictures from the last show on Sunday and feeling miserable.
But I must say, I guess I have to see what it looks like.

Er Gothic cathedrals maybe, but far too delicate an order of architecture for castles. But we knew what you meant re: Loading Out THE PRODUCERS
