Where has Top Hat and Betty Blue Eyes Gone they really should come to Broadway and have great appeal to the Bway Market and I think Hugh Jackman would be great in Top Hat

Betty Blue Eyes is embarking on a UK tour next year.

I highly doubt it would ever come to Broadway as it wasn't very successful in the original London run.

I loved Top Hat. Thought it was elegant, fun, and full of some pretty great dance numbers. I agree that this should've made the leap across the pond.

I enjoyed Betty Blue Eyes when I was in London. I think it would be fun for the US

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Despite an American pedigree in terms of book writers (the same two guys who did the awful Queer as Folk remake and Sisters on TV) would Betty Blue Eyes have any real selling point in the US? It barely did in the UK...

Top Hat was much better received, and I could see going over in the US.

Tommy Tune is supposedly working on a revised version of Top Hat for Broadway.

"would Betty Blue Eyes have any real selling point in the US? It barely did in the UK"

It's novel and it's British.

American tourists love theme park musicals. What's more fun than a mechanical pig running around stage?

American tourists love British stories. Why else does every PBS station continually run Judi Dench and Patricia Routledge reruns? Americans love Downton Abbey. Americans love stories of cockney British pulling through in hard times. Look at the success of Call The Midwife.

Cast it with Victoria Clark and Eric McCormack and the tourists will come to see it.
