Looking for Funny musicals#1

Hi all,
I'm looking for some really funny, funky kinda musicals that are kinda unknown, not spamalot for example.
Things like Evil dead, Zombie prom or even Bush is Bad.

Any Ideas?

Urinetown.
The Great American Trailer Park Musical.

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

Let me add another vote for The Great American Trailer Park Musical. I only just got around to hearing the OCR and it's genuinely funny and genuinely smart with a terrific score. Check it out.

On the Twentieth Century- utter comic genius right there!

Both Forum and Little Me are sketch shows with unified characters. Got that? Neither has much plot, per se. They are written to be performed and not acted. They are nearly burlesque. As in old-fashioned baggy pants comedy.

They are each in their own way a collection of vaudeville-like 'star turns'. Forum does have a juvenile and an ingenue, but Little Me really doesn't even have those.

Few strong book shows are truly funny. A strong book and score can get in the way of the gags. Promises, Promises has a second act that will leave you holding your sides if it is played right, but that is the exception.

Edit: Do not overlook Hello Dolly! Strong funny book, strong score, needs solid staging.

"Forum" - when done right. There's nothing worse than seeing a bad production of "Forum."

"Me & My Girl" is very, very funny, too.

"Dirty Rotten Scroundrels"

i second the vote for "bat boy"
hilarious and REALLY good pop/contemporary music theatre music

and another vote for "lucky stiff," different, a small cast and more gag-style humor, but cute!

people on broadwayworld.com can be rude and scary

I remember seeing a musical called "Milk and Honey" when I was younger. I couldn't tell you now how dated it may be, but it was hilarious!

Milk and Honey was Jerry Herman of Hello, Dolly! fame's first musical. I've never seen a production of it so I can't shed any light on its comedic aspects, but I'm assuming it was because of the Molly Picon role. Mr. Herman supplied that character with some of his funniest lyrics ever
