I know this is the longest of long shots, but I am desperately seeking a Playbill from the Off-Broadway run of Hamilton, and the only ones being sold online are selling for rediculous amounts of money. If any of you have an extra you would be willing to part with I would be forever grateful (and willing to pay or trade for it, just can't afford the rediculous prices that EBay is asking for haha). Thanks!

Just a thought, no idea if this will work. Could you reach out to the Public and ask them for one? In exchange for a donation or something?

Update: I contacted the Public and they said that unfortunately they do not have any more spare Playbills, so no luck there :-/
You're looking for an extremely valuable item. Whether it's justifiable or not, Hamilton is a once in a lifetime phenomenon, and one day that playbill will be worth even more than what's currently listed on eBay. The prices are that high on because that's what the item is worth. So, I don't know why you're looking for someone to do you a favor, and give up an extremely valuable collectible. The entitlement here is ridiculous.
I truly had no idea one could get so much for these on eBay. Good to know.

You can and you can't. The ones listed on EBay right now (one for 200 and another for 2,000) are extremely over-priced, even given the demand for these playbills. I have been following them fairly closely and the most I have seen one go for is 79, which is a lot of money for sure, but no where near what they are listed at right now (those have been up for months, and there is a reason no one has bought them lol. But yea you can still make a lot of money if you sell it on there haha.
I wonder which Off-Broadway Playbill is more valuable: Brian as King George or Jonathan as King George
Thoughts?
I'm paying zero attention to the list prices of the ones that are currently for sale. I was just shocked by the 'sold' prices when you filter completed, sold auctions only: $190 for an off-Bway BDJ Playbill! Unsigned even. ??
(eta: finally figured out what causes the '??' in posts - I'd put an emoji there.)

Probably Brian as King George just because he was the original and also since J Groff moved to Broadway there are more playbills with him in it. But honestly they are both very valuable haha.

Wow that is absolutely insane haha. I had no idea there were any that were actually selling that price point. Maybe because its Brian. But still, insanity lol
wow, I can't believe people are charging that much for them! Personally I think the Playbill design is ugly as hell, but I guess that doesn't have anything to do with how collectible it is. Weird to think that my signed Hamilton Playbill with Brian d'Arcy James is just sitting in a stack in my messy room...
Maybe I'll sell them someday when I'm older and broker. Not yet, though!
Jeez, in that case what is my poster worth?! ![]()
I even covered my bases and had BDJ and Groff sign it.
Someone once got this for one...
Crazy... heh. I'm keeping mine anyway...

That is actually insane, lol how does anyone just have that kind of money lying around to spend on a poster?!

Your rudeness is way more ridiculous here than any entitlement.

Does anybody remember the last time a playbill sold for that much money, aside from those with celebrities' signatures?
GreasedLightening, I'll take a spanking for my rudeness.

Bump?
You know this is a valuable item and you're still coming on here trying to get one for free or for cheap? That's not how this works. Pay for one like everyone else who didn't get one when it was running at the Public and who now wants one. That's the reality of it.

Too expensive for my blood but maybe if you were desperate enough...
