Looking for a buddy for Hedwig line for Wednesday/Thursday/Friday

Hi, I'm planning to do Hedwig standing room this week and I am going by myself and was hoping to pair up with someone so we can swap in the line. I could do the "morning shift" and I am looking for someone to get to the theater between 12-1pm and switch places. I would then come back for when the tickets are sold before the show.

I may be interested! I have to see first though if one of my friends wants an extra ticket if I'm able to get, but if not I may still go anyway and would swap -- out of curiosity, when are you going in the AM? I'm thinking of going tomorrow. Saw the show back in May but would love to go again.

Well, the idea was that we would only get 2 tickets between us, as only one person would be in the line at a time. I don't think it would be fair to others if we each only spent half the time in the line and each got two tickets, just wanted to make that clear.

Tomorrow, I have an appointment I cannot reschedule so I would be there at 8:30, Thursday or Friday I can be there at 6am.

Yea, I know that wouldn't be fair- that's why I would be interested if my friend can't make it, but if he can, I would also go (sorry if that didn't come across as clear). I'll know tonight so I can post back here either way.

With rumors of less SRO for the last week of performances, and people reporting 20+ people in line ahead of them when they got there at 6 a.m. in the thread linked below, you may need to rethink your plan of attack... especially as you are going on one-show days.

Yes, for me Wednesday is the best day. To be fair that thread was for a Sunday matinee, but I know someone that went a week or 2 ago on a Thursday at 6:15 and was OK (granted, that wasn't NPH's last week). I'm thinking of going closer to 6 if not earlier.

So what if we did tomorrow, I got there really early, then you took my space when I have my appointment (7:30-8:30) and then you come back for the afternoon?

Not to be the bearer of bad news... but I think you will need to go MUCH earlier than 6am to have a chance at SRO. I'm thinking in the 3am or 4am range if not earlier. Also, I doubt they will have a full complement of SRO seats. I'm guessing closer to 10 spots as people close to the production come to see the show one last time before NPH leaves.

I think more people are free in the weekends (hence why people are willing to go there by 3-4am!) However in the weekdays, when I went this past Friday the first person in line showed up at 4:45am. They only gave 9 SRO tickets that day and the last person who got them showed up at around 7am.
Good luck! Irenka --- I am off this coming Friday and am free to take turns waiting in line for a few hours if you can't find anyone. I can only do it on Friday though.

Turns out, I can only do it on Thursday (tomorrow). Please let me know if you are interested, you get to sleep in and wait only half the time! I just arrived from Europe so I'm very jetlaggged and wake up naturally at 3 am...
