Lost Ticketmaster Tickets

Ordered a ticket to a show, which I promptly lost, of course.

Called Ticketmaster, they set up a lost ticket voucher, but were sketchy on the details, besides "go to will call the day of the show."

Can anyone who's previously experienced this shed some light on what to do?

My thanks.

I lost a ticket to a show a while back and when i called Ticketmaster they told me that there was nothing that they could do. A few years ago i used to run a ticketmaster at a Tower Records and when I read the policy, and as I recall there really is not way to re-print your tickets.

But things could have changed. Its been a while.

I lost my tickets (to Phantom I think) a couple of years ago, and when I got to will call there were vouchers there waiting for me. Worked perfectly.

I had that happen with concert tickets a few years ago. They render the original tickets useless and set up a new set for you at will call using the lost ticket voucher. Just go there, give your name (and, I think I had to bring the credit card I used to purchase the tix online), show ID and they give you the replacement set.

I wish I remembered better details but I do remember the process was pretty simple.

I had tickets sent to me once and my friend lost them. She called Ticketmaster and explained that the tickets "must have gotten lost going through customs or something" and they set up vouchers at will-call for us as well, no problem at all. It was just like picking up regular tickets at the will-call window.

Thanks for clearing it up. I guess they'll have the new tickets waiting for me in October.

What exactly is a "lost ticket voucher?"

What else did you need? You called, they said a voucher would be waiting for you, what other info do you need? They aren't giving you new seats or anything.

A little reassurance that I'm not getting screwed from others who've had the same thing happen.

That's what I need. And got.

We were pretty scared too, that we would get all the way to the city and not have tickets, but really there's nothing to worry about. :)

My guess is it's just a printed form requesting that new tickets be printed. I'm not sure, my friend picked up the tickets, so I didn't get to see.

Left Spamalot tickets in the hotel in Toronto.

Just gave them my visa at the box office. They cancelled the original tickets and gave me new ones.

I have had that type of thing happen twice before and always if you have a matching credit card with you they can match up the records and reprint on the spot no issues.
