Are you trying to lotto for a show alone? Want to double your odds? Find a Lotto Buddy! Tweet @lottobuddies with the show and time!
Here's how it'll work:
1) you tweet to @lottobuddies with the show/time you're trying to lotto for
2) I'll retweet it
3) one of my followers will hopefully be trying for the same lotto and will tweet you!

I have never done this formally but I always look for another single person when I am looking for one ticket. It definitely doubles your odds....I have gotten lottery seats a number of times this way.
It's a great service you have.

i've done that a lot too, Kathy, but I've never won any lotto I've attempted.
Great idea.

I've looked for people or been approached too, and it actually worked once.
I think this is a very cute idea.

Why not just find someone at the theater who appears to be there by himself or herself? I think I'd rather be approached by a stranger at the theater in person. Sorry, I'm probably in the minority here.

No, you're allowed to have your own opinion and voice them! Some people might find it awakard to approach someone in person and it may be more comfortable for them to make initial contact over Twitter then meet up at the theatre. If you're comfortable just asking people there, more power to you but this is just another way for people to meet up! If you don't feel comfortable using this system, no prob! But maybe pass on the word to people who might find it useful?
Thanks for your input!
PS: I personally find it awkward to approach someone who looks like a single because maybe they're just waiting for a friend? Then you're stuck just awkwardly walking away, haha. At least with this, everyone who tweets is guaranteed to be lottoing alone.
