Lotto/SRO/Rush Tickets/TKTS ?

So I'll be in NYC next week and I have a lot of shows I want to see. I already have tickets to If/Then and they were quite expensive so I have to do Lotto/SRO/Rush/TKTS for the other show I want to see. i was just wondering for the following shows which options are the best:

Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Beautiful
Matilda
Lady Day at Emersons Bar and Grill
The Book of Mormon

Book of Mormon is absolutely worth it! Beautiful just had the leading female win the Tony so I assume it is good but I have yet to see it. Lady Day I would see if only because it did make Broadway history with Audra winning her 6th Tony!

If you're asking what options are the best for getting those cheap tickets then you can count out HEDWIG and BOM lotteries. If you really want to see either of those you can spend the entire day waiting in line for SRO. MATILDA lottery is a little bit easier to win.

Don't know about the rush for BEAUTIFUL or LADY DAY but you can do a search for threads regarding those topics.

Both Hedwig and Mormon are fantastic, and I think they're both worth the wait in a SRO line. I waited about 3-4 hours in line for each and got standing room tickets after losing the lotteries, but I'd do it again for either any day. Especially if you haven't seen The Book of Mormon, I'd suggest that. The current cast is great and I'm already dying to see it again. I don't know about your other options since I haven't done rush for them, but I had a great experience with SRO for the two shows that I saw.

Book Of Mormon, Easy SRO, spend the afternoon sitting in front of the theater chatting with people, you can also enter the Lottery while you wait for the SRO tickets.

Hedwig is the same as Book of Mormon

Matilda I have won the Lottery, but I dislike the show, It is seldom on TKTS if ever.

Lady Day is AMAZING, rushed it twice, GET THERE EARLY, both times I rushed they only had 10 tickets. Go mid week as I have heard weekends are sold out and there are no rush tickets. (This may have changed since the Tony Awards). I think they are offering SRO when it is sold out.

Beautiful, I rushed early in the run, so there was no problem getting seats. I have heard that recently it is selling out and they do not always have rush tickets, but I think they are offering SRO. Again if you are looking for rush seats go early in the week.

Matilda is on TKTS quite often but you can't count on it...but its there. The Matilda lottery is hit or miss..sometimes really crowded, sometimes not crowded at all. Decent odds of winning...

If you are only here for a weekend, I wouldn't count on the Hedwig or the BOM lottery...they are almost always packed. Standing room is a much better shot (and yes you can try the lottery at the same time)...but you have to be willing to stand.

I loved Beautiful but I got discounted tickets ..so I know nothing about their cheaper tickets options.
