Did anyone get the message from the "Love Never Dies" website about the October 8 press announcement in London? Apparently they're giving out memorabilia and information as well as playing music from the show on the day. There's no way I'm going to be able to attend on such short notice but I really, really want get hold of that memorabilia and will be willing to pay anyone if they can get a spare. Sooo curious about this project.

As a fan of the first show, I want Love Never Dies to be successful, but from everything I've heard about the story, ALW seems to be doing everything possible to screw up the characters and message of the first show.
I also lovelovelove Ramin Karimloo (extremely talented, handsome, a very, very nice man, and my current avatar), and I want the show to be big and help to get him the stardom he deserves.
I would absolutely go, if I lived anywhere near London.
I went in June and have another trip planned for February/March, so going now would almost be a waste of money.

Everyone I've spoken to who's actually heard the music thinks it's magnificent but I wonder about that because a show isn't just supposed to be about its score. We'll see in time...but it's been ages already and we haven't heard a thing. Unlike "The Phantom of the Opera" where we had a single a year in advance!
But, like I said, I'm willing to pay anyone for a copy of that memorabilia because I doubt whether RUG will just send it to me in the mail, money or not.

I've also heard the music is good, but like I said, the story just sounds too absurd. Between Coney Island, the Phantom walking around with normal people, a drunk Raoul, a Christine robot the Phantom makes love to every night, and it being narrated by sideshow freaks, my faith in the show being a worthy sequel is waning. (Although it will score some bonus points with me if they say the Phantom's name, Erik, like it almost sounds like they will, and if they have some nice Phantom/Christine moments, because I'm such a fangirl.)
I'm planning on buying the cast album for Ramin (and for the music if it does turn out to be 'amazing'), but if the story turns out to be as disjointed from the first show as it sounds like it will be, I'm not going to like LND.
