The show yesterday was AMAZING!!! And the rush line was absolutely insane. People that probably got to the line around 9 for the 12 opening were turned away. Because the entire center section they gave away, 101-115, were taken by people (including me) who got there between 7 and 7:45, so yeah it was freezing but definitely worth it. Except some people got so angry about it, probably about 25-30 people were turned away. I mean yeah I understand their right to be upset because they wanted to see the show but it wasn't our fault. We knew that it was going to packed that day, Cara's last being a majority of the reason the crowd was there that specific day, so we planned ahead. It's not like we said "Hey let's all come randomly today and screw people out of tickets." Every one was nuts. And I was also sitting on the right side, whereas I'm usually on the left and I actually haven't been on the right since the beginning of July, so it was a new perspective and I saw little ensemble things I haven't seen before, it was cute. Ummmmm *tries to remember little things* oh yeah! After the whole Robbie and Julia kiss thing after Robbie says goodbye and then he does the little slap thing to Glen, he just kept backing up into him, didn't stop, walked right on top of him. Amy and Laura lost it and had to turn around, because otherwise they would have been looking at us in the front row and we were cracking up too. Haha and 'Casualty of Love' was insane too! Cara's Donatella was priceless. You could hear so clearly every little thing that she was saying on the side and I guess the rest of the cast could too because you could see people on stage losing it for like the whole number. It was absolutely HILARIOUS!!! Ummmm apparently before 'Not That Kind of Thing' the guitar fell off the stand thing and somebody had to run on and get it? I didn't catch that one...oh and after the whole 'Where's the beef???' line and then the whole surprise bachelorette party it looked like Laura started cracking up because she didn't even say the line 'Don't worry I didn't hear anything!!!' but instead just threw the balloons over her head and practically ran backwards off the stage, nearly tripping on her way out! Laura also was throwing in these cute little things like after 'That lady's hilarious when she says that right?' she said, 'Oh yeah she's pretty funny...' and stuff like that. A lot of the under the breath stuff the actors usually do were picked up by the mics but even though basically only the front row were able to pick up on every little thing, it was still hilarious. But seriously a classic performance. Not as funny as I heard Saturday night was but it was definitely amazing.
After 'It's Your Wedding Day' while they were all mingling around the stage it was cute because a bunch of people were all going over to Cara and giving her hugs, it must have been so hard for her not to lose it. The only time she did lose it was at the very very end after curtain call when they all usually dance off the stage. Everyone just went over to Cara, it was so cute. Definitely a tear jerker experience. I'm going to miss her soooooooooooooo much, but I'm so happy and proud of her for the chance to do 42nd Street and I cannot wait to go see her in it!
Next to go: Matt Allen. BOO!

Blue for Broadway---
I loved reading that. I have nothing against Matthew but maybe I will get to see Constantine in the Wedding Singer after all!!!! If I lived on the east coast, I would see the play at least weekly.
Thanks for posting :) *excited about the news*

I have heard no official announcement yet.
BTW Can someone explain our titles? How many posts do you have to have for each new title? I am just curious.

It's not official unless it comes from the powers that be, but it certainly sounds like they want to keep him around.
I know a lot of you like Matthew Saldivar, but if he comes back to the show at this point, I wonder how well the show would do.
Constantine is becoming popular among more people that just his usual fans.
Let's see how the grosses are this week.

I was impressed with him in Wedding Singer, and though I loved Matthew, if Constantine can continue bringing more people to the show, let him stay.
The only issue with him that I have- I see the show pretty regularly, and most of his fans come on the weekends. Many of them scream for "Sammy on the bass", and when he knows he has fans there, C hams it up for them throughout the entire show. He rarely does it during the week. But he is always gracious at the stage door, stops to sign for everyone and take pictures, and I think he is a great member of the cast.

I totally agree! His arrival appears to have brought a bit more attention to the show, which is ALWAYS a positive, and is indeed a good add to the cast.

That bothers me as well; it's kind of disruptive when they do that. But as you said, it rarely happens during the week (I am going on a weekday to avoid such a circus--at least I hope LOL), and his graciousness at the stage door--at least the accounts I have read recently--more than compensates for it.

I originally bought the tickets because of Constantine being in the show, but I have to say the whole cast was great, the show was great and I just loved it!!
Yes we saw Ashley Parker Angel, my daughter got her picture taken with him she was very excited!

and yea, it was really distracting how everytime (for example after "single") the audience would go CRAZY after constantine did something. i mean hes great, and he does deserve it, but the rest of the cast DEFF deserves the same attention if not more. but i will say that he does go around and sign EVERY autograph and takes pics with anyone who wants them and he is DEFF bringing in more people. i just think that some of the screaming during the show needs to stop. even at the stage door, everyone was pushing and it just was too chaotic.

I would LOVE to go during the week, but that's hard when you have to travel and you have work/classes. Hopefully it won't be too bad if I get to go!

Christina must be an incredibly patient person, because that hair has got to be insane to straighten. She looks cute, though.
Anyone rushed on a Sunday recently? I'm probably going next Sunday (10/29) and was jsut curious how earl yI shoudl get there.
