ok, my friends in the shower right now so im doing my review now!!

so we were supposed to leave the appartment at 8:45 but we ended up not leaving until almost 9:30, this didnt make me happy. but we got there and got out tickets for the matinee show! so i get there and i was SOOOO excited!! and yes,i saw you too blueforbroadway!! and i wanted to say hi but i didnt want it to be awkward either, lol.

BUT OMG!!!! the show seemed to last forever which i LOVED!!!!!!! ok, so:

Laura Benanti: I AM IN LOVE!! AMAZING!!! it was SOOO nice to see her in this role again and i think she even did better than the last time i saw her! WOW!!!!!

Stephen Lynch: you could tell hes been sick lately, but he still did a great job!!!

Amy Spanger: Umm, AMAZING as always!! what else is new! lol

Felicia Finley: WOW! deff got an eyeful during a note from linda!

Kevin Cahoon: Brilliant! LOVED him AGAIN!

Constantine Mouralis: ok, so i heard he was really good and i have to agree! he was great! i cant even decide who i prefer in the role! i love both constantine and matthew. but i have to say that it was very disappointing when everyone screamed for constantine, but not as much for the rest of the cast. it takes away from them and they DEFF deserve the appreciation as well!

ok, stage door time:

so i didnt get a great spot. i mean it was alright, but deff could have been better. i missed ashley amber haase cause she left while laura was signing :/ but i did get to meet laura *dies* and got mostly everyone to sign my playbill. and i took the ABSOLUTE CUTEST pic of laura ever!!!

ok, so then we decided that we were gonna come back to just stage door at the 7:00 show. so we get there around 9:30 and we just sat there and listened to the show when all of the sudden we look up and constantine, kevin, and stephen come out of the stage door! we completely forgot that they go into the audience! so we got to say hi to them! and then constantine and kevin walked back and constantine gave us his eye! i thought that was pretty cool.

so then the show ends and i got the best spot for the stage door!!! i got my cd booklet signed and i got pics with almost everyone that came out, that i will deff post a link to on monday when i get them uploaded! AND i got a pic with ashley amber haase!!! but unfortunately, laura and felicia didnt come out re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. this upset me. i was SOOOOOOOOO looking forward to getting a pic with laura! and i missed adinah, i saw her walk by but just missed her :/

but i am still determined to get that pic with laura, so were going back tomorrow brfore the show and try to catch laura real quick when she arrives. and as i just asked, does anyone have a recommendation as to what time to go cause i really dont wanna miss her again! right now were planning on getting there around 1:30.

but yea, BEST DAY EVER!!! NO LIE!!!!!!!!! im in heaven right now!! re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Just for the record, Kevin Kern is doing some understudies concert on either October 29th or the 30th. He wasn't sure, just mentioned it offhand to me because he thinks its the 29th (and its my birthday) Said he is singing two songs....if anyone finds more info, let me know!

haha, thanks! yea, i got student rush! AMAZING!! and i didnt get to the box office til about 9:50 and there was only one more ticket left for the night show, but there was 5 left for the matinee. so we went to the matinee.

ooo, and a cute moment: when laura and stephen are dancing which amy and constantine are talking, they were talking about something, and i was trying to figure out what it was but i couldnt, but they were cracking up! it was so cute, i dont think many people were able to tell, but i was watching them and it was so cute!

and then when they kiss the first time, they deff went at it. i dont think they did that the last time i went. adorable though!

and stephen kept making faces and making laura laugh and almost break character, but it was frickin ADORABLE!!!

no, im not going to the show today cause i have to leave at 4 re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. otherwise, id deff be there, or at LEAST stage door. so thats why were going before. but im excited!

constantine and amy were laughing because when she was supposed to say
"I only said that so you'd get off the hood of my car" she stumbled over hood and said roof. it was very funny to see them cracking up.

also I thought Kevin usually went on as Grandpa and he didn't last night when Peter is out...am I just wrong in having thought that he did?

I really enjoy reading the reviews. Check out this link on BWW:

https://www.broadwayworld.com/pulse/

Constantine Maroulis is considered to be "what's hot on Broadway". I know most of you have appreciation for the other actors, but you know this is good for the show and the other actors.

I enjoyed reading your opinions regarding Laura and Tina. Obviously they are both very talented actresses and I am glad to read they both have great support from their fans.

Could someone please explain what you mean by "rush" tickets.

Also is there a better and cheap way to get Broadway tickets beside standing in line at the Tickets booth in Time Square?

I have gone to a few Broadway shows and am a novice regarding Broadway. Thanks

You can get some good deals through sites like TheaterMania.com or Playbill.com. I am sure there are some other good discount sites too.

sweetconni: rush tickets are for students and you can get them from the theater when the box office opens the day of a performance. They are also cheap, like $26.25 at a limit of two per student. The box office opens 10am every day but Sunday. On Sunday I believe it opens at 12pm (someone can correct me if im wrong). Hope that helps!

Anybody know if Constantine is going to be out on 10/31? I know he has a gig at 11:30, so I assume he'll still go on. Anyone know for sure?

I know of a lot of Constantine fans that have bought tickets for both TWS and the Cutting Room gig for that night. I believe he said he was doing both somewhere along the way. Don't see any reason why he would not be doing both.

By the way, he's going to be on Good Day NY on Fox in the morning at 7am and is going to be doing a contest to win tickets to TWS and dinner with him.

Thank you! I am going to be in the city that weekend and was hoping he'd call out so I could see David in the role, but no such luck!

I guess I can't figure out how to post images on this board, but I found an announcement for his Halloween show with his new solo band, who are freaking awesome. The show starts at 11pm on the 31st at The Cutting Room.

He's going to do the Wedding Singer and high-tail it down there for the concert. The traffic that night ought to be nuts.

Expect a short stage door appearance from him that night.

"Anybody know if Constantine is going to be out on 10/31? I know he has a gig at 11:30, so I assume he'll still go on. Anyone know for sure? "

It is confirmed Constantine will be at both events that night. So yes, he will be performing in the Wedding Singer and doing the Cutting Room performance.

Everyone, thanks for the info re: rush tickets and web sites for tickets.

I just listened to a cell cert of Kevin Cahoon at Joe's Pub tonight. He was rocking out. Loved it. He ended the show with one of my favorites, Midnight Radio, from Hedwig. Excellent.
