You said that before. Oops. (I can read, I promise!)

Did Christina say WHEN next week she might be going on as Julia?

She didn't say. She was talking to a woman next to me who had asked her about her first time going on as Julia, and Christina said she may go on again sometime next week.

I wonder when? As much as I adore Laura, I'd like to see Christina go on once more before the show closes, see how she gets into the role. And I have a few friends who didn't get to see her the first go-round who I know want to.

1) David Josefsberg was out all weekend because he was at a wedding.
2) Finley was out because she had planned absences from what I heard. When I talked to Nicolette after the matinee yesterday, she already knew she wasn't on Saturday night, but was on Sunday matinee. She was amazing - SUPER FIERCE. Felicia is more Rockstar!Linda while Nicolette is sexy!linda.

Joanne was on for Nicolette. The new Donatella is weird - fabulous dancer, but looks out of place. It might just be because I am so used to seeing Cara or Joanne.

I liked David Eggers as Shane though, although I missed Matt Allen.

It was my birthday today and the whole cast made it really special, Richard Blake was especially nice and did something really sweet.

Stephen's boxer incident was HILARIOUS.

Constantine's mean? He was so sweet when I met him last time. The again, I was at a show full of 50-year-old trailor trash women who were screaming over him and I was just like, "Hey, Origin of Love? Great song. I love Hedwig." and he looked really surprised I knew what the **** it was. Then he started rubbing my hand during the conversation and his conversation with the women next to me, which was awkward, but whatever. It was late.

I think he's a pretty sweet guy. He's just really, really full of himself and when people don't like him, he doesn't like them back. Not that I know him at all, but I don't know. It's just the vibe I get.

Then again, I am fourteen.

Not only was Stephen's boxer incident yesterday probably the funniest thing I have ever seen (I enjoyed when Cahoon sat down on the bed and covered him with the bedsheet!), but it was also planned on Stephen's part, heh.

Yesterday was probably the most fun I've had at Wedding Singer. Between Stephen's ass, Constantine breaking every other scene (Thank you, JESUS!!! was ridiculous), and Laura adding these RANDOM sarcastic lines in the middle of scenes, I haven't laughed that hard in a long, long time.

I am glad you had such a good experience, and there is no age limit on being nice to someone. Behavior breeds behavior and you are so right about him how he tends to be when people do not like him. He was also very nice when my friend and I saw the show, chatting with both of us. Of course, we went on a weeknight, and the stage door crowd was very respectable. It was a very good experience.

That was planned? Thank God! lol, it was hilarious. It seems like something he would do, not that I know him at all. I was wondering how he didn't notice; I mean, it's pretty obvious when there's a breeze where there usually isn't one. hehe, It all becomes clear.

At first I felt like Laura was kind of phoning it in- her Julia is a lot more downplayed than Tina's- but all of those little extra lines were amazing!! I can't even remember all of them, but I do remember, after her mom left, "My veil." That was brilliant. And then the laugh after "Julia Guglia." I never liked her delivery of that before (I hadn't seen her since May), but it completely worked yesterday. And it seemed like only the front row caught all of them. It was nice to get something a little different- I've stopped laughing at a lot of the normal jokes, so it's nice to be caught unawares with new things. Was it sarcastic Julia day? It'd be funny if each show she did a new theme/adjective. What a way to keep it fresh.

Until yesterday, I had seen both Tina and Laura equally (two times each), and I was surprised to see Laura's face when she entered! hehe, I guess it has been a long time.

I think Constantine exhibits diva-like qualities at time, but a lot of genuinely nice people do.

I don't really talk to Constantine, even though I am there a lot, but I am always expressed with his patience at the stage door. There could be hundreds of people there (and unless he has a gig or something), he will always stay to sign and take pictures with all of them. Sometimes, I can see it wearing on him, but he grins and bears it and he definitely deserves credit for that.

Another point - Richard told me yesterday that in order to stay and finish out the show, he will be having five weeks of overlapping rehearsals between "Legally Blonde" and "The Wedding Singer" which will be hard. I am impressed with his dedication to the show. Because of that overlapping rehearsal, he will be out Wednesday and Saturday matinees. I am not sure when that starts, I think its late November/early December since that's when his rehearsals start, but if you want to catch Matt Stocke as Glen, you will definitely have a chance.

I never liked Laura's delivery of the "Julia Gulia" bit in the bedroom either, but the little bit she changed yesterday made it work a lot more. I really loved how she took out the bit where she would put the record away, grab a tissue and loudly blow her nose, and instead kneeled down after crying, started laughing, and then the slow realization of "I'm Mrs. Robbie Hart" came over her face. It was a very good change on her part, in my opinion.

Personally, though, my two favorite additions that Ms. Benanti did last night were right before Come Out of the Dumpster, when Stephen says "Wait, you got engaged?" And she put her hands in the air and went "YAYAY!!!!!" all unsurely. And also, when Constantine comes onstage after the Someday reprise and says his "That lady's hilarious when she says that!" and Laura deadpanned "Yeah, that's really funny."
