So, tonight was great! Matt Allen was very good as Sammy. His mullet was kinda weird, but it worked. He had good chemistry with Amy and did well on his vocals. He had a great moonwalk. When he said "tone your flab" he lifted his shirt to reveal a very nice 6 pack. Quite funny.
Angelique was on tonight for Adinah's role. She just does the bare minimum to get by. Her "fake pregancay" line was BAD! Shane was played by a swing I've never seen before.
During the Vegas scene, when Amelda Marco shoves the shoebox at Glen, I noticed that everyone on stage was laughing. J. elaine looked like she didn't know what to do and wanted her box back. It was funny. Steven was laughing and didn't know what was going on, but got back into character. Tina was trying not to laugh when he was singing to her. When the curtain was coing down and Tina and Steven were dancing, I overheard Tina telling Steven that J. Elaine shoved the shoe box so hard that the box broke and that's why everyone was laughing.
Tina had the funniest facial expression during "Not that Kind of Thing". She had the whole front row laughing. She also has a new wedding dress for the finale! It was very cute and I loved it! It has like a shrug and a little belt that has rhinestones on it. New outfit for 'Not That Kind of Thing' too. YAH for giving Tina outfits; I just wish they'd let her be Julia for the whole time now since they got her all new outfits. It's like what's the point of getting her new outfits if Laura is coming back soon?

Did Richard Blake lose it too?

So happy for her, but so sad for me and Wedding Singer!

Aww, she's leaving a terrific role on Broadway in NYC to play a lead in some theatre I have never heard of in PHILLY?
Eh, it's actually a pretty good deal, BUT VERY SAD AT THE SAME TIME...

Well, kudos to her for getting another job but still.. sad face.
Shane was played by a swing I've never seen before.
That was either Kevin Kern or Michael McGurk. I assume you know what Kevin looks like (*points to avatar*), but I may be wrong. Was he blonde or not?

Michael McGurk covers Shane. i saw him go on once before, but he rarely goes on as his covers have great attendance records. I am almost positive it was him unless he was ill.
Cara Cooper is leaving TWS on October 15th.

ANGELIQUE IS PLAYING THE ROLE OF JULIA'S MOTHER NOT CHRISTINAS ROLES
#2193
Posted: 9/20/06 at 4:06pm
Oh wow!!! So who is in christina's track?? That's SO weird!!! I'm seeing it tonight and I'm so excited!!!
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block
Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

Because its not like there's another female swing or anything...
Joanne Manning will go on as fake Cyndi Lauper.

Kevin Cahoon AND Kevin Kern are going to be performing at the A Night in Gotham benefit on October 9th. Unfortunately, tickets to this are pretty expensive so I have a feeling no one here will be able to go. Sad face.

I'm happy for Cara! Sad that she'll be leaving, though. Who will cover Holly (and be as good as she was at it) while she's gone?
