re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

I'm not saying that i full out dance or anything! Liotte can attest to that.

Besides I do have tact and am very considerate of the people around me, as well as those on stage!
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

"The other night after the show we were chatting away and she said I am so sorry I don't want to be rude but I got to get home I am a little beat..I said..ohhh...Stephen is taking the best out of you..(this was the night she ran to him in the mall scene and said catch me and they body bumped..so funny)...she said No I booked a hosting gig and I have been shooting that during the day time...I will try and find out more... "

OK i was at that show and no wonder she was sooooooooooo subdued at stage door. (i thought it was just cause of how no one was there waiting) it was a wednesday which meant TWO shows and then the hosting gig?!!??! DAMN!! crazy lady! she worked her ass off that day! awwww!!! my maddigan :sighs: im sad now it feels like everyone is trying to get different gigs going on re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

yeah the 20th. it was so weird because i am used to her attacking my friend at the door with sharpies or trying to attack my friends roommate and acting like she is gonna throw the barracade to get to her. you know the normal stuff like that. but now it all makes sense why she was very subdued. i thought the audience just totally bummed her out (maybe they did a little) but it makes so much sense.

the crowd was horrible. she was asking us what we thought about the crowd being dead. :sighs:

but the hosting gig is amazing news! I am so happy for her re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Most of the times I've gone it's been pretty upbeat and alive. There was one show that everyone found everything hysertical. There were points that the cast had to wait to start the next line cause the laughing wouldn't stop. When T. Oliver came out as Mr T the crowd was so loud and laughing for so long Stephen looked confused and actually turned around to see what it was he was doing to make people laugh.

Told by whom?

"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer

"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher

I hate dead audiences. There have been some days that I've gone and the audience was so into everything, and other days where I was one of the very few people laughing.

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

A friend called me tonight and said she got one of the last remaining tickets for tonight's performance. The TKTS booth was almost out of them.

When the audiences seemed "dead", was it a good crowd? Were there many open seats?

When I saw it, everyone was laughing it seemed. There was applause during the show and at the curtain call, an immediate standing ovation. I thought it was like that every night.
