That this wonderful production of Shakespeare's Globe at Pace University isn't selling out is a crying shame.
You should all buy your tickets now.
I go to Pace. It's so weird walking around and seeing all of these English people in tuxes and people in our multi-purpose room dressed up and playing lutes and what not. That being said, I've heard the production is phenomenal. I am going to try to get stand-by tickets.
I saw this same production in London at the Globe three months ago, and I totally fell in love with it. Anyone that can see it, please do!

I go to Pace, as well. I was at the opening night performance on Thursday and LOVED it. It's absolutely hysterical, and the end is breathtaking. Please, please go if you can!
Judas, I was at that reception in the multi-purpose room, and it was SO cool. That whole night single-handedly made the 2 and a half years I've spent at this school so far worth it. :)

I caught in a few weeks ago when it was in Santa Barbara. It really is a wonderful production, and Blair is right about the ending. It gave me chills.
My BFA program was lucky enough to have a workshop with Phil Cumbus, the actor who plays the King of Navarre, and that was just spectacular! There was also a Q & A with the director, which was very interesting. All in all, don't miss this show!
Seeing it next Friday. Saw them do Measure for Measure once in London, a few years ago, and it ranks among the best theatrical experiences I've e ever had.
