They look fantastic together and as their real life counterparts.

LOVEMUSIK is the show I have been most excited for this year. May is too far away.

Nice to also get some more information on this show:

Culled from the letters of Threepenny Opera composer Kurt Weill and his longtime muse, Lotte Lenya, LoveMusik stars Tony winner Michael Cerveris and Donna Murphy in a new biographical musical directed by Harold Prince.

Prince and Uhry employ such Weill classics as “September Song” and “Lost in the Stars” to illuminate the love affair between the young Jewish composer who escaped Nazi Germany for Broadway—and redefined it along the way—and the ambitious Austrian chanteuse, reared as a Catholic, who followed him here to become one of musical theater's grittiest female icons.

I have been dropping hints to get tickets for this. I must be too subtle. Guess I'll have to work more so I can pay my way. Unless they do rush!

I would also like to point out that Weill had hair around the back of his head.

Well, they did...He's a hot piece of ass but he does have pretty horrible skin and in every professionally shot picture I've ever seen of him his face is airbrushed so it's completely smooth.

Weill is supposed to be older then Lenya. Airbrushing takes years off, which normally is fine. I'm shocked that for once he looks his age. Oh well, he's still sexy.

im sure hes photoshopped too... i mean that 'pattern' that comes off like rough skin & hard light seems to also be on his lower lip... which seems odd?

Actually, Weill is 2 years younger than Lenya...but I do think Weill suffered from some skin issues which might explain why Cerveris looks the way he does.

Donald Spoto's biography of Lenya is wonderful. I actually enjoyed it more than I enjoyed Speak Low.

Did I say that Michael's super bumpy non exfoliated cratered face kept him from being hot or that it kept it from working? No, I didn't. What I did say was just an observation, this thread being more or less a thread about a LoveMusik poster...

Yeah, and Clive's face is rough. I'll be the first to talk about that and the irony of the fact that he's a Lancome skincare spokesmodel... so nothing new there. But what does that have to do with this particular topic? Um, nothing.

Well, that publicity shot certainly piqued the interest of this theatregoer. I am just kicking myself that I will not be able to get there to see Cerveris and Murphy together.
