Well for me I love both love simon and call me by your name.
And I actually would love to see Troye Sivan write the music for it. Or if he collaborated with someone like Sam Smith. I actually I’m kinda curious about how it would sound and think it could be well received
Ugh... The poster is hideous to put it mildly and captures nothing about the show/franchise except its remote resemblance to High School Musical.
I love Sivan’s new album, but he is so so young. I don’t think he has enough experience as a songwriter to write a full score for a stage musical. Not sure Smith has enough experience yet, either. As has been noted many times, writing a pop song is much different than writing a score for a stage musical. Only a few can transverse the two worlds successfully.
