I loved every minute of this production! All the elements work like clockwork: The acting, the direction, the costumes, and the set are all top notch. Angela Pierce, one of the female leads, was out that day and we saw her understudy, Julia Coffey. She did a great job in a demanding role with lots of stage time. I particularly enjoyed the interactions among the characters, and the overall tone was just right: breezy and funny with an undertone of seriousness, as you'd expect from a play set during wartime. The play moved along at a good clip and held my interest throughout. I highly recommend seeing this production, which I think closes later this month (July). It was my first exposure to the Mint, and it won't be my last!
