I'm trying to decide between Front Center Mezzanine tickets in Row A versus Center Orchestra Row M.
I've heard that the safety rail can be a problem in Row A of the mezzanine. And, I'm worried that the rake in the orchestra won't be steep enough since I'm going with my mother who is short.
Any thoughts?

The safety rail is an issue in row A of the rear mezzanine, not the front mezzanine.

I sat in row M, but on the side not the center, and the rake was nonexistent. I'm relatively tall, but a tall guy sat in the seat in front of me and his head was right in the center of my vision/the stage for me the whole time. Maybe the seats in the center are staggered more, but I wouldn't risk it. Go with front mezz.

I have sat in orchestra row M, the side sections on or near the center aisle. I thought the sightlines were fine. It didn't feel too far back. I'll be sitting in M-1 next month for DBH.

I've sat front row A mezz it was perfect and no problem with rail. Orchestra rake is non existent.

I sat in Row A of the front mezzanine for a revival of Hello Dolly. The front mezzanine is really close to the stage, so it was a great seat. Even with the passarelle, I don't remember missing anything. The seat was GREAT. The Lunt does not have enough of a rake in the orchestra (does it have any???, so I will only sit on the side aisle...if I am alone. I once purchased two aisle seats in adjoining rows (just so we were both sure that we would not have someone tall in front of us). Sort of obnoxious, I thought, but my wife is only 5 feet.

I sat in the row P for Sweeney Todd (lottery tickets) on the far side and had zero issues with sight lines. What I remember very well is phenomenal leg room. Very comfortable evening in the theater.
