Wow! The ticket prices for this show! I was going to see this show with my sister-in-law and niece, but, at the time had other plans. Those plans fell through and I’m now thinking of going with them. When we were originally looking at tickets, we were able to get decent orchestra seats for $185. Those seats were $255 a couple of weeks ago and now they are $311. I hate dynamic pricing (for Broadway and concerts), but, it is what it is. I can get “partially obstructed view” seats in the orchest...

I know there’s a lot of hate on this board for Gypsy, but I saw this back in January and loved every second.I’d never seen Audra McDonald on stage before and felt honored to be in her company for one night. No shade to Gloria Gaynor, but, LOL, she's had one hit that people in the mainstream will recognize. Someone like Madonna (love her or hate her) makes much more sense. Or Beyonce? Michael Crawford? What about Nathan Lane? Audra McDonald?Sylvester Stallone? What about Tom Cruise? Harrison Ford? And Trump hosting it? Ugh. The news is utterly depressing these days.

Does anyone know how long Jonathan Groff will headline “Just in Time”? Tickets are on sale through January…I assume he’ll be in it through then (at least)?

Hmmmm…I loved her performance in Sunset, but to mention her in the same breath as Gaga and Josh Groban? Gurl is not in the same stratosphere as either of them. Outside of theater buffs snd the random Pussycat Dolls fan, the general population response to her would be “Nicole who?”
