The new song Sondheim wrote for the Into the Woods film was called "She'll Be Back", it was written for The Witch following her "Lament." However, it was cut due to pacing issues, and because this song would have competed with the Witch's other big 2nd Act number, "Last Midnight." This song has been described as spectacular and beautifully performed, though. This scene was filmed and it will be on the DVD
So, on another forum, a poster posted that a website has the lyrics to "She'll Be Back." However, since it is a preview, a lot of the lyrics were blocked out, but, oh do they sound beautiful!
Here are the visible lyrics:
"Free's the one thing she never will be
Every place that she goes, every face, every rose, everything that she does, she'll re(...)
She'll be back...
She'll be back.
She's just eager to grow.
She's just young
In an hour or so, or as (...)
(...)long as she thinks about me.
When she thinks of the good times we had, no the bad, she'll be back.
I can wait (...)
(...) what she's lost.
She'll be back. "

Weren't the full lyrics to the song included in the copy of the shooting script that was going around?
The song is included in the movie vocal selections.
