It's funny but it didn't occur to me until the discussion in here that I've never understood the spelling section of Revolting Children, I'm just so into the song by that point that they could be singing German for all I care. On the one hand it's frustrating that Minchin let his love for obsessively jumbly wordplay get in the way of intelligibility, but on the other hand that's an impressive clump of rhymes.
It really is kind of a word soup, though.
