It's strange. I got to meet her about a month or so back, and I learned she was Maureen in RENT. I did my research, and found some clips of her singing "Over the Moon".
Did you any of you happen to see her in RENT?

Posted: 5/29/05 at 6:20pmI DID! She was SOOO GOOD! I've only seen one other Maureen, but the other one was NOTHING compared to her! She had GREAT vocals, chymistery with the girl that played Joann, and was SOOO FUNNY in Over the Moon.

Posted: 5/29/05 at 7:15pmI saw her and I was blown away. She is by far the best Maureen I've ever seen (with the exception of Idina) and I've seen 7 different Maureens. She was fantastic!

I first saw Maggie on tour in 2000 as Maureen; she was wonderful, and got even better once she moved to Broadway.
Anyone know what she's up to now?

Posted: 5/30/05 at 2:33pmShe seems to have the rep as the best Maureen besides Idina. I've heard a few clips of her and saw her at Broadway in Bryant park, and really enjoyed her...though I've never seen her in the show.

She has a boyfriend from Canada (His name is Johnny... one of the funniest and sweetest men I've met in a while), and hasn't been acting a whole lot.
That's all I know, but I'm sure when I meet Johnny again, there'll be news to spread around. I'll be sure to keep up with it.

My first RENT experience was when she was Maureen. I thought she was amazing and so so funny. I never knew about "stage dooring" then so i never got to meet her. I tried looking her up for a fansite or regular website but i think they are all outdated.
I would love to know what she is doing now, I hope i get to see her again.
A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it,
but all she really dreams is to make someone
else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer.
