Maid In Manhattan (aka turning movies into musicals)

Flipping channels and since I couldn't find anything on, I settled on this Jennifer Lopez starrer. It's a Cinderella story that I thought on some levels could easily be transformed into a Broadway musical (sans Lopez, of course).

Anyone seen other non-musical movies that had a Broadway vibe to them?

i think they should just do cinderella without the maid in manhattan business. or "ever after" it's closer to the storyline.

this was just on TV in Manhattan last week......love it
