Mama Sees Green!

I always try to make it to New York every year just before Christmas, usually 10 or so days before the 25th. Suddenly this year my jaunt has been brought forward some weeks-well you cant turn down the offer of an empty apartment while the owners fly down to Florida can you!
This Saturday we leave for 3 nights in the Big A. Already arranged is 'Pal Joey' for Saturday night -BA permitting lol! -'Shrek' for Sunday matinee and maybe 'White Christmas' Sunday evening! Not much playing I haven't seen on Mondays! Then there's the early performance's (9am or 11am-that could be an effort!) of Radio City's Christmas spectacular!
It may be cold and raining here in the UK but it can also be brass monkey weather in NY but at least the sun always shines!

How cool is that back in New York, I am looking to go back in March!!!

Unlike SADM2, I don't much only a 6ft Shrek teddy, not too much to ask!!

I'm not in a hotel this time and I'm sorry I cant really pinch toiletries off my friends now can I! (*reminds oneself never to invite SADM2 to stay at mine!).
Playbills etc will be in the post to you c/o The Palace Ok? I always carry an extra case for my collection so a few extra wont hurt!

Surprised you are not seeing South Pacific, but then ago I think you could of seen it already?

I wish!
NYC, so far, so good-
'White Christmas' **** (This should be at our London Palladium every Christmas!)
'The Little Mermaid' * (I would have given this 3 out of 5 in Denver but it is truly awful now!)
'Pal Joey' ************ (OK-we sent them 'Sunday/ George' so i think they should send us this classic production of a classic musical with a classic lady - Stockard Channing!- only the 3rd preview but looking great).
'Shrek-The Musical' 8pm tonight!!!!
May see Radio City's Christmas Spectacular at a matinee but then again they've actually filmed it and its on DVD now - tickets $125- DVD $13 mmmm! I've seen it about every year now for 20 years maybe I'll just take it home this time!
SADM2 I've all the latest fliers for you!
'White Christmas' has put me in the mood of Christmas good and proper- bit of retail now!
Mama's doing fine, real fine!

Well! There were 2 in 'White Christmas', 1 in 'The Little Mermaid' and the on stage drummer in 'Pal Joey' was as cute as hell!
But Ive settled on bring back Shrek for you!
The drummer is mine!

LOL well he certainly isn't going to be interested in Ariel! LOL
Off to see 'Shrek now! Not sure what to expect after what I've been told the last few days. got some great seats, stalls row M. It will be busy cos there are only 5 or 6 shows playing tonight.
