Why exactly is he joining the show? Who is he taking over for? Did someone not extend their contract when the show did?

I agree with you Distinctive Baritone. But I guess Camil was brought in to attract more Hispanic people, he's always on Univision so people would recognize him more than some of the other actors currently appearing on the show.
its running at 40% capacity. its amazing they extended, I was expecting an early closing notice. But still what will Camil add to the show? and whose part is he taking over? This is just a waste of time on the producers part its not going to raise sales.
That guy has had "must be on Broadway" dreams forever.
I wouldn't be surprised that he did whatever he could to just say he was on Broadway...it seems he finally got it...although I'm sure very few people will remember this show, let alone him being in it.

I believe that he is not taking over for anyone. They are just making the cast five people instead of four.
