1) Do people really stand and dance through most of the show?
2) How difficult is it to get SRO for this show?

1) no. people may stand up & dance though (not dance but like rock back & forth) at the finale jukebox. They perform I think 2 or 3 numbers in which have nothing to do with the plot but is just a fun ending after curtain call.
2) Not sure- if they have it, the show has to be sold out. They go on sale I think 2 hrs before show time IF they have it at all. I'm not sure how often the show is selling out.
Hope that helped.

Well this week it sold 98.1% and last week it sold 99.9%.
Both times I saw it folks were only dancing at the finale.
Is Leah Hocking's performance in MAMMA MIA worth paying $25 for SRO? If she is truly excellent, I will stand for this again just for her. (stood for Carolee the first time I saw it...totally worth it!)
Is the story worth it?
I'm not a big Abba person. But I really wouldn't mind seeing something that has a decent story. Like when I saw ASU. Hence me wanting to see my dear Leah. (yeah WithoutATrace!)
the story is awful...i would only see this again to hear Leah sing the songs
The plot holes are HUGE, but it is such fun. Go and enjoy.

Didn't see people dancing in the aisles when I saw it on tour, just a lot of people leaving in the middle of curtain call. What a treat they missed-I liked the encores best of all!
I love the show simpley because it is such fun. When I saw it here in Dallas this past Sunday, my friend Meredith and I laughed basically every time a song started, just because the majority were so random and forced. Its a fun evening though. And yes, people do sing and dance during the finale.
I've been hearing that the plot is thin and weak, but I like the music - it sounds so fun! I think I want to see this.
The story is not awful. It is actually remarkable how well they fit existing songs from one group into a coherent musical. My expectations were low going in. It is a rather sitcom type plot. A woman is running a B&B on a Greek Island and her daughter is having her wedding on the grounds. Her mother had affairs with 3 men and doesn't know which one is the father. She never told any of them about her daughter. The daughter tracks them all down and invites them to the island (as her mother) the same week as her wedding without telling her mother. They think they are coming to visit the mother and the daughter is trying to figure out which is her father to walk her down the aisle. Mischief and mayhem ensues, old flames are rekindled and they live happily ever after.
